RM of Nipawin holds by-election

The Rural Municipality of Nipawin once again has a full council.

Zachary Youzwa has filled a vacant council seat following a by-election on Wednesday.

Youzwa won with 49 votes. The next closest candidate was David Hluchaniuk with 15. A total of 82 votes were cast.

Youzwa told northeastNOW he wants to work on keeping taxes in the RM low and look into airport business opportunities.
