Tisdale area employers showcase opportunities

Nov 2, 2017 | 1:29 AM

Job seekers in the Northeast learned what’s possible yesterday during Tisdale’s first ever job fair.

Twenty companies and organizations set up for six hours in the town’s RECplex. Economic developer Sean Wallace said Tisdale was a growing community.

“There’s a lot of jobs to fill here and the best way to do that is to have all the employers assembled in one area,” Wallace said.

New businesses slated for the region include a Tim Horton’s, Sobeys and Buy-Low Foods, which will open by the end of the year.
