St. Brieux man sentenced for Wildlife Act violations

A St. Brieux man must pay over $4,600 in fines after pleading guilty to three charges under the Wildlife Act.

Twenty-year-old Carter Pratchler admitted to shooting a bull moose and leaving it to waste North of St. Brieux last January.

He was charged with hunting out of season, waste of game and discharging a firearm from a road at night for the purpose of hunting.

He is also banned from hunting for three years.
