Hawks best Bruins in game three

The Nipawin Hawks took a 2-1 series lead over the Estevan Bruins in the Canalta Cup Final, following a 4-3 overtime win Tuesday night.

The Bruins had a 3-2 lead at the end of the third period, but Hawks forward Logan Casavant scored with 3.2 seconds left in regulation play. Tyler Adams and Brandan Arnold were credited with the assists. At the 18:58 mark of the first overtime, Kenzie Arnold scored the game-winner for the Hawks, unassisted.

Brandan Arnold had a big night for the Hawks, with a goal and two assists. Declan Hobbs faced 31 shots in net.

Game four was scheduled for Wednesday night in Estevan.
