Nearly five months after it was first announced, a player trade between the La Ronge Ice Wolves and Nipawin Hawks has been completed.

The Ice Wolves have acquired forward Kenzie Arnold from Nipawin. Jason Bednarski was sent to Nipawin when the trade was first announced Jan. 10.

Arnold, 19, played three seasons with the Hawks. Last season he played in 49 games and recorded 18 points with seven goals and 11 assists. In the playoffs, Arnold had two goals and one assist for the league champions and lifted the Canalta Cup along with his brother Brandan.
