Jul 20, 2018 | 2:19 PM

An hour0long stroll from Kerry Vickar Centre to West Palace Parking lot got the wheels in motion for the 113th Melfort Exhibition.

The Melfort Agricultural Society took over the parade from the Melfort and District Chamber of Commerce, with floats, walkers, and emergency vehicles greeting spectators with waves and candy.

The Melfort & District Museum took home first prize for their float whose theme was a decade by decade flashback of Melfort dating all the way back to the early 1900s.

Exhibition weekend goes on until Sunday July 22, with a list of events to fill the three days.
