Play continues at HOOPLA 2019

Hoopla 2019 continued Friday evening Saskatoon, with a number of teams from the northeast taking to the court.

The senior girls team from Prince Albert’s Carlton High School were in action taking on Swift Current in consolation play. The Crusaders came out on top by a score of 69-61 in 5A play.

Meanwhile two North Battleford teams were in action, in 4A boys play, John Paul II Collegiate were defeated by Moose Jaw Central by a score of 88-62. On the 4A girls side, North Battleford Comprehensive got past Notre Dame, 60-55.

Also competing in the 4A division was the Melfort senior girls, who came out on top over Moose Jaw Peacock by a score of 70-49.

In the boys 2A division St. Brieux beat Birch Hills 86-61.

On the 1A side boy the Middle Lake senior boys and girls were on the court, with the boys falling to Davidson 79-73 and the girls defeating Southey 71-19.

Play is set to wrap up Saturday.
