Stabbing in Melfort leads to serious injuries; RCMP looking for suspects

A stabbing in Melfort is under investigation by RCMP who say the suspects are still at large.

Just after 5 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, Mounties were dispatched to an assault at a residence on Main Street in Melfort.

Three unknown men with concealed faces entered the residence where an altercation took place between them and a man in the home who was stabbed.

The three unknown men left on foot travelling in an unknown direction.

EMS transported the victim ot hospital with what were described as serious injuries.

Melfort RCMP ask that any suspicious activity on or near Main Street during the early morning hours of May 25 be reported to them or Crime Stoppers.
