No bail hearings for Naicam residents charged in traffic stop

Jun 5, 2019 | 3:00 PM

Two Naicam residents charged in a drug trafficking incident had bail hearings declined by their defence lawyer.

Kevin Hill, a lawyer for Legal Aid Saskatchewan, declined bail hearings for Chance Keller and Brittany Simonson in Nipawin Provincial Court on Wednesday, June 5, as both no longer have release plans. Both are set to appear again in court July 3.

Both Keller and Simonson are charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possessing a weapon dangerous to the public. Simonson is also charged with breach of a conditional sentence.
