Two-vehicle crash near Carrot River claims one life

A 27-year-old man is dead following a two-vehicle collision near Carrot River.
On Monday, at around 6:45 a.m., a northbound 1990 dodge dakota collided with a westbound 2004 Nissan Pathfinder on highway 789 five miles west of Carrot River.
The 25-year-old man driving the Nissan was sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The 27-year-old man driving the dodge dakota succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
Carrot River RCMP, an RCMP collision analyst, Northeast EMS, and the Carrot River Fire Department attended the scene.
