Water to be shut off for majority of Tuesday in Porcupine Plain

The town of Porcupine Plain will be without water for nine hours on Tuesday.
Mechanical upgrades will be completed at the water treatment plant resulting in water being shut off to the entire town starting at 1:15 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to store water to get through the day while water is shut off.
A boil water advisory will be in place once water is turned back on. All tap water used for drinking, preparing food, beverages, ice cubes, washing fruits and vegetables, or brushing teeth must be boiled for at least one minute.
