City of Humboldt employee killed in worksite incident

A construction worksite incident in Humboldt has resulted in the death of an employee.

The City of Humboldt issued a media release early Wednesday evening which read:

City Manager, Joe Day confirms that the incident resulted in the fatality of a city employee. Humboldt emergency services responded to the scene of the incident in the southwest area of the community at around 2:30 p.m. Occupational Health and Safety along with RCMP are investigating.

No other details have been released at this time.
