As the province gives so much to Rider Nation, the organization felt it was important to give back.

The Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation and the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation have teamed up for the Touchdown for Kids Millionaire Lottery.

The lottery will make one lucky person an instant millionaire and is expected to raise a significant amount of funds for both the hospital foundation and Roughrider foundation.

The Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation is on a mission to raise funds for the enhancement of maternal and children’s healthcare in Saskatchewan and the new provincial maternal and children’s hospital, which is scheduled to open Sept. 29, 2019.

“Together, we will positively strengthen youth programs across the province and support the round-the-clock medical care needed for those that require Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital,” President and CEO of the JPCHF Brynn Boback-Lane said in a news release.

Besides the instant millionaire, the new lottery will include thousands of prizes, including 13 new vehicles, six luxury vacation packages and 41 unique Roughrider experiences.

An early bird prize of $500,000 will be awarded to one person who purchases before Nov. 25, 2019.

Tickets for Saskatchewan’s newest lottery go on sale today, with a final draw date on Dec. 19, 2019. They can be purchased online at touchdownforkidsmillionairelottery.com.
