Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation ready to support research
The Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation (JPCH) is teaming up with the Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation (SHRF) to support medical research.
Each year the JPCH provides $400,000 to those undertaking research in the fields of maternal and pediatric health. Specifically, the foundation is looking to support research in areas including Indigenous health and remote access.
The SHRF will be in charge of managing the application process and subsequently administering the grants.
JPCH President and CEO Brynn Boback-Lane said it would not be possible for the foundation to distribute these grants without support from their donors. She said supporting this kind of research will help the foundation in their overall goals.
