Emergency service disruption in Porcupine Plain

There will be a temporary disruption to emergency services in Porcupine Plain this weekend.

Emergency services will not be available at the Porcupine Carragana Hospital on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m.

According to the Saskatchewan Health Authority, the disruption is due to a lack of physician coverage.

They recommend calling 911 in the event of an emergency, while non-urgent health related questions can be directed to the provincial HealthLine by calling 811.

Emergency services will also be available on Saturday at the Kelvington & Area Hospital and Tisdale Hospital.
