Grant program application deadline approaching

The deadline for applications for the Saskatchewan Lotteries Community Grant program is coming up quickly.

Organizations have until Friday, Feb. 28 to submit their applications.

“Any community organization or volunteer group that promotes, maintains, and expands programs and services for sports, culture, and recreation can apply for funding,” Director of Development, Planning, and Community Relations for the City of Melfort Brent Lutz told northeastNOW.

He said the funding is for projects that occur this spring, and for the following year.

Lutz said the grant applications are still open for groups that have applied in the past and haven’t yet done so this year, or groups or organizations that never applied.
