Anxiety and Depression Information Group

Prince Albert Mental Health Services offer an Anxiety and Depression Information group.

This is a confidential, mental health supportive option for adults with anxiety and /or depression symptoms who want a better understanding of these conditions and knowledge of coping strategies.

Classes will be provided in a group format with handouts to assist in teaching coping strategies.

Participant’s do not have to talk, but will be invited to read, ask questions or share their concerns and insights.

Participants may continue with the Anxiety and Depression course or request individual counseling after attending the Anxiety and Depression Information portion of the program.

This introductory program will provide information on Anxiety and Depression.

· Symptoms and causes

· Strategies for coping

· Self-talktechniques

· Improving wellness lifestyle

· Communication skills

Adult clients presenting with anxiety and depression are encourage to register for this program through Intake or Walk-In Services.

Classes are held weekly at the Mental Health and Addiction Services building, 101-15thST East Tuesday afternoon 1:30 to 3:30 pm.

New clients can start at any week
