Tisdale Civic Centre site for Holey Cow Kids Festival this Saturday

Mar 4, 2020 | 12:00 PM

The Holey Cow Kids Festival and Trade Fair will make its debut in Tisdale on Saturday.

The day will feature 22 kid and adult-oriented local vendors set up in the Civic Centre as well as other kids’ attractions.

Organizer Jesse Lewis will bring out his Mr. Lewis Magic Show for four events throughout the day.

“They are only 15 minutes each so it’s not like sitting down in a theatre for four hours and watch a proper illusion show,” Lewis said. “It will though have some larger illusions to it.”

Lewis performs his hypnosis show locally and across the country since 2007.

The Tisdale Twisters gymnastics group will perform and there will also be a professional wrestler on hand.

“It is a fairly small show but that’s kind of the point so it’s kept nice and tight and small,” Lewis said.

There will be games and prizes including a scavenger hunt and pie-eating contest.

Vendors on hand will include Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Caleigh’s Crystals, Creations by CJ, Sweets Concessions, Crystal by Coralee, Kaze Productions, Young Living, and more.

The North East SPCA will bring some animals available for adoption.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Tisdale Civic Centre. The cost is $5 a person.

“The plan for this kids’ fest is for it to grow and to take it to other places as well,” he said.
