During these times – people are stepping up to social distance but to also find ways to help.
Melfort, SK’s Northern Lights Gallery is setting up projects on their Facebook page – to help families with bored kids.
“As you may have noticed, this is a bit of a ‘fly by the seat of our pants’ project that’s meant for all school kids who would like to keep learning from home. Our focus will be on art you can do at home, but we also intend to add a few cooking classes, perhaps a bit of sewing, maybe some beadwork . . . there’s no end to the options.”
“What I would like from any of you that are using this page is INPUT. Give me a list of things you’d like to do, artists you’d like to emulate, recipes you’d like to learn, something you’d like to be able to create from home.”
