Provincial gov’t adds to list of flights that carried COVID-19 cases

Seven flights have been added to the provincial government’s list of those that carried passengers who since have tested positive for COVID-19.

As well, one flight that previously was listed has been updated with more information.

The new flights include:

• Air Canada 015 from Toronto to Saskatoon on March 20, rows 1-6;
• Air Canada 1121 from Toronto to Saskatoon on March 17, rows 15-21;
• WestJet 323 from Toronto to Saskatoon on March 17, rows 7-21;
• Air Canada 8584 from Calgary to Saskatoon on March 15, rows 12-18;
• WestJet 452 from Calgary to Saskatoon on March 11, no row information available;
• WestJet 3276 from Edmonton to Saskatoon on March 10, rows 16-20; and,
• WestJet 2419 from Cancun, Mexico to Saskatoon on March 7, rows 17-24.

The government also updated its information on Air Canada 8582 from Calgary to Saskatoon on March 21, saying the affected rows are 3 through 16.

The complete list of flights identified by the government can be found here.

All travellers returning from international destinations (including the United States) are required to self-isolate for 14 days upon their return.

The province added that on domestic flights, people who were seated in the affected rows are to self-isolate for 14 days and watch for symptoms. Those who were seated in other rows aren’t required to self-isolate, but it’s recommended that they monitor for symptoms for 14 days after the flight.
