Power outages for Humboldt over a number of days next week

There will be numerous power outages in the city of Humboldt over the course of four days starting this Sunday.

SaskPower will be working to improve the power system and therefore will need to turn off service to do so.

On Sunday, May 10, odd numbered residents on the 500 and 600 block of Main Street, all residents on the 500 to 700 block of Ninth Street, and odd numbers on 500 to 700 block of 10th street will be without power from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On Monday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., residents on 10th and 11th Street between Fifth Avenue and Eighth Avenue will not have service.

Another four-hour outage on Tuesday May 12, will affect customers on Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue between 10th Street and 14th Street. Power will be off from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The last outage will take place on the 700 to 1200 block of 10th Street and the 900 to 1200 block of 11th Street from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13.

The Crown corporation’s work in Humboldt is weather permitting.
