Fire ban issued for R.M. of Torch River

Citing “extreme fire hazard conditions,” the R.M. of Torch River No. 488 has issued a fire ban.

Open-air fires of any kind are now forbidden within the municipality.

All previously issued burning permits are suspended.

Lighting of fireworks is also strictly prohibited.
