Aug 25, 2020 | 3:08 PM

Melfort RCMP have arrested and charged a 45-year-old Melfort man after a dangerous driving incident on Saturday, Aug. 22.

RCMP received numerous complaints that night shortly before 8 p.m. of someone driving dangerously in the City of Melfort. Police located the vehicle, but it failed to stop.

The vehicle was located the next morning in the RM of Flett Springs. Further investigation led to the arrest of Gordon Webb. He now faces charges of operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited, flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, as well as two counts of breach of release order.

It’s not the first time in 2020 that Webb has been involved in a dangerous driving incident with police. In May, Webb was arrested after a lengthy police chase in Melfort.
