Tisdale man arrested after incident involving replica firearm

A 31-year-old Tisdale man has been charged after a firearm complaint over the weekend.

Tisdale RCMP responded to a residence at around 1 a.m. on August 29 where a man allegedly pointed a firearm at neighbours during an argument.

Officers from the Tisdale and Melfort detachments arrested a suspect without incident just before 2 a.m.

The residence was searched by officers who located a pellet gun that was a realistic replica of an AR-15.

Jamie Lynx is charged with possession of an imitation weapon dangerous to public peace, assault with a weapon, and failure to comply with a release order condition.
