Positive COVID-19 case at St. Augustine School in Humboldt

An individual tested positive for COVID-19 at St. Augustine School in Humboldt.
Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools (GSCS) said they were made aware of the case by the Saskatchewan Health Authority on Nov. 7, and contact tracing is underway.
Further details of the positive case won’t be shared due to privacy protection, but GSCS said the risk of exposure to anyone not considered a close contact remains low. Classes will continue as scheduled.
GSCS reminded students and families to continue performing daily health screenings, staying home if ill, and calling HealthLine 811 if showing COVID-19 symptoms. Along with proper hand hygiene, maintain physical distancing, and wearing a mask.
