Trojans and Stars weekend series postponed as league awaits COVID-19 results

A weekend home and home series between the Tisdale Trojans and Battlefords Stars has been postponed.
Both teams were scheduled to play Saturday, Nov. 21 at the North Battleford Civic Centre and Sunday, Nov. 22 at the Tisdale RECplex. No make-up dates have been announced.
In a statement, the Saskatchewan Male U18 AAA Hockey League said two individuals are waiting for COVID-19 test results. The league didn’t say which team was affected, if not both, and if the individuals were players or staff. For privacy reasons, the league said further comment will not be provided.
The Friday, Nov. 20 game between the Prince Albert Mintos and Warman Wildcats was also postponed due to the league’s COVID-19 protocols. A decision on the game between both teams on Sunday, Nov. 22 is still to be determined.
