COVID-19 outbreak declared at LeRoy School

LeRoy School students will continue learning from home until May 5 after the Horizon School Division was made aware of an additional COVID-19 diagnosis at the school Friday.
Students at the school have been at home since Wednesday because of two positive COVID-19 cases at the school.
The cases involve variants of concern, and the situation at the school has been deemed an outbreak.
The school division said in a release that they are assisting in the contact tracing process and further details cannot be provided to maintain the privacy of the individuals involved.
