One structure lost in large bush fire northwest of Wakaw

Wakaw/Hoodoo Fire and Rescue responded to a big bush fire on Saturday afternoon shortly before 4 p.m.
It was located 25 kilometres northwest of Wakaw and was out of control when crews arrived. It was also threatening nearby structures.
One building was deemed as a complete loss as a result of the fire.
The department is also reminding residents of the fire ban currently in place. They say the bans will remain in place until a large amount of rain comes.
