SJHL Board extends contract for commissioner Chow

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League has agreed on an extension for their long-time commissioner.

The league has extended the contract of Bill Chow through the 2022-23 SJHL season. Chow has been in the position since 2011.

“Over the past 10 seasons, Bill has been able to lead the SJHL through unprecedented times” stated chairman of the board Rick Schultz.

Some of those unprecedented times have included the Humboldt Broncos Bus Crash in 2018, and more recently, the COVID-19 pandemic.
