Nipawin RCMP investigating break-ins at local churches

RCMP in Nipawin are investigating two break-ins at local churches.

The Town of Nipawin Facebook page made a post regarding the incidents saying that the Nipawin Alliance and New Life Churches had been broken into sometime between July 13 and 14.

Windows were broken in the process and a number of items were stolen.

One Apple iPad has been recovered so far.

RCMP are also telling local churches to use an extra level of caution by ensuring buildings are locked and have sufficient lighting outside with surveillance systems being utilized.
