Regina man dead, woman seriously injured in Highway 16 crash near Insinger

A Regina man lost his life while a woman was seriously injured as a result of a collision near Insinger on Friday.

On Sept. 3 at around 11 a.m., Wadena/Foam Lake RCMP responded to the scene on Highway 16.

The investigation determined an SUV and semi collided. A 58-year-old man who was riding passenger in the SUV was declared deceased at the scene and the 32 year-old woman who was driving was sent to hospital with serious injuries.

The man driving the semi was not injured.

The highway was blocked during the initial investigation but has since re-opened.
