Triple fatal on Highway 6 near Watson

Three men are dead following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 6 over the weekend.
On Sept. 12, around 12:30 a.m., Melfort RCMP responded to the scene of a minivan and a truck towing a boat on the highway about 10 kilometres north of Watson.
A 43 year-old man from Spalding who was driving the minivan, a 42 year-old man from Melfort who was driving a truck, and a 35 year-old man from Pickerel Lake who was also in the truck were all declared deceased on scene. Their families have been notified.
The highway was closed for several hours during the initial investigation. Melfort RCMP and a Saskatchewan RCMP traffic reconstructionist continue to investigate.
