Mustang fall behind early, can’t recover in game four loss to Terriers
The Melfort Mustangs are now in a three-games-to-one hole in their SJHL quarterfinal series against the Yorkton Terriers.
The Mustangs fell 5-2 to the Terriers on Wednesday night in game four of their series and there weren’t a ton of positives to take from this one as the Mustangs fell down 3-0 before 11 minutes had even elapsed in the hockey game.
Mustangs assistant coach Dan Meyers said the team didn’t come out as hard as they wanted to.
“Didn’t come out hitting,” he said. “We had a game plan and we didn’t follow what we had in the game plan.”
