Roughriders load up on draft picks, territorial juniors before camp
The Saskatchewan Roughriders added Canadian content to their roster Monday.
The CFL team announced the signings of six picks from Tuesday’s draft as well as the additions of four territorial juniors and one player under the U Sports Canadian Quarterback Internship Program.
The signings were:
Offensive lineman Zack Fry — The 6-foot-6, 304-pounder was selected by the Roughriders in the second round (16th overall) of the draft out of Western University. He played in 33 games with the Mustangs, with 28 starts at right tackle, and was named an OUA first-team all-star and a U Sports second-team All-Canadian in both 2019 and 2021.
