Regional and provincial parks ready for long weekend campers

With the May Long weekend coming up, regional and provincial parks are announcing various activities for campers.

Despite the cold and damp weather, parks across the province are encouraging everyone to come out and see what the province has to offer.

Struthers Lake officially opens on May 20. They are kicking off the season by reminding everyone about the upcoming Free Fishing Weekend in Saskatchewan. Those who choose to catch their dinner are encouraged to share pictures of what they are taking home.

You can also enjoy a vacation at St. Brieux Regional Park and Golf Course. They are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and are encouraging everyone to check their social media for updates on celebration events.

For those looking for places to go to enjoy some warm weather this summer, Wakaw Lake, Nipawin, Kipabiskau and McNab regional parks have announced various activities beginning in June including swimming, camping and golfing.
