Anderson heading south to begin post-secondary hockey career
Carter Anderson is adding his name to the recent list of former Melfort Mustangs, who are taking their hockey careers south of the border.
The 2001-born forward joins the likes of Marco Lopez, Curtis Hammond, Seth McCulloch and more, who are extending their playing days past Melfort.
The Langley, B.C. product, will join the Anna Maria Amcats for the 2022/23 season, a part of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III.
Anderson, spent two seasons with the Mustangs, playing a total of 57 games. This past year, he scored 20 goals and added 27 assists, both good for third on the team, which amassed 47 points in 54 games, ranking fourth on the club. He would add two assists in two playoff games.
