
Multiple successful rescue missions performed at Poplar Bluffs
The Saskatoon Fire Department (SFD) dealt with multiple rescue situations at Poplar Bluffs, roughly 20 kilometres south of Saskatoon, all within 24 hours.
The first call came in at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday night, saying someone went missing from their group.
This group had been on a “party island” and had floated away from the sand bars.
According to a release, a water rescue team was dispatched shortly after getting the call.
