Hawks grab forward from P.A. Mintos

The Nipawin Hawks have announced a new commitment for the 2023-24 season.

Spiritwood product Konnor Watson has signed on the dotted lines and is expected to join the team next year.

The 6’2″, 170-pound forward is currently with the Prince Albert Mintos of the Saskatchewan Male U18 AAA Hockey League (SMAAAHL).

So far, through seven games, the Mintos rookie has scored three times and assisted on five others.

Along with his eight points, he has 10 penalty minutes.

He will be jumping to the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) level and to a team that is currently 5-6-1-1, through 13 games.

The Hawks will host the 4-6-0-1 Notre Dame Hounds, this Thursday, October 20, in Nipawin.
