Two of three accused in drug bust have charges stayed
Two of the three people charged in a drug trafficking operation by Prince Albert RCMP last fall have had their charges stayed.
Grant Day, age 44, of Melfort was charged with one count of possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking but had the charge stayed in provincial court on January 23.
Tanis Michel, a 24-year-old man from Kinistino, also had his identical charge stayed on January 30.
Melfort resident David Barks (39) is the lone accused still facing charges and will be back in court on February 27 to elect his trial mode. He is out on bail.
