Northeast organizations receive charitable gaming grants
The Saskatchewan Government has provided nearly $1.5 million to groups and organizations that raise money through charitable gaming activities.
The charitable gaming grants will benefit 20+ communities throughout the northeast, servicing these volunteer groups.
Todd Goudy is the MLA for the Melfort constituency and told northeastNOW about the value of this money and the organizations it’s going to.
“It speaks to the volunteer boards that know where $250 can make a difference. They were small numbers, but lots of connection points throughout the constituency, and these boards know best, where to spend the money,” he said.
