Firearm Incident

Humboldt RCMP looking for two suspects who pointed gun at moving vehicle

May 4, 2023 | 4:58 PM

Humboldt RCMP is still investigating the report of a firearm being pointed at a group of people travelling in a vehicle.

Further investigation has determined that back on April 21, around 8:20 p.m., three people were in a vehicle travelling south on 9th Street in Humboldt before an SUV pulled in front of them and stopped, and the passengers of the SUV got out and approached the victims’ vehicle.

The victims then drove away, however, the SUV began to follow them as they travelled on Highway #5 towards Muenster.

They later turned around and passed the SUV, which had stopped, before a man in the SUV pointed a gun at them.

The victims continued driving to a safe location and told police about the incident. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.

Humboldt police are now asking for the public’s help, should they have any information regarding the incident.

The vehicle has been described as a black, full-size SUV, possibly a Cadillac Escalade or a GMC Yukon.

Meanwhile, the two suspects have been described as tall Caucasian men with slim builds, one of whom has a beard, and were wearing all black.

Anyone with information can either contact the Humboldt RCMP at 306-682-2535 or can reach Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or via their website.
