‘She kisses my boo-boos better:’ Saskatoon kids share what they love about moms

Mother’s Day is coming up on Sunday, and Harper has a long list of things she loves about her mom.

Baking brownies, watching The Lego Movie, eating hash browns and sausages, and playing with makeup are just a few of Harper’s favorite things about her mom.

On top of that, she said she loves getting hugs and kisses from her mom.

“She kisses my boo-boos better,” she said.

650 CKOM stopped by Kids Cove, a Saskatoon daycare, to find out what kids love about their moms before Mother’s Day arrives.

Chelsy Kubashek said on top of running Kids Cove, being a full-time mom is a very rewarding job.

“I love everything about being a mom,” she said. “I feel like that’s what I was always meant to do.”

It’s not just on Mother’s Day when the kids she takes care of express gratitude for their moms, she said.

“They just always talk about their moms and how much they love them,” she said.
