Suspect on the run following shooting incident at Prudhomme

UPDATE: On Sept. 11, Prince Albert RCMP found and arrested Myles Has at a home in Saskatoon.

Saskatchewan RCMP have confirmed a man was injured and a second man is on the run following a shooting incident in Prudhomme.

On Wednesday, at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers were called to a residence in the small central Saskatchewan community and soon after determined through their investigation an altercation occurred between two men.

A firearm was discharged and one of the men was injured. He was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. The other man left the scene in a vehicle, which was recovered the following day in Wakaw. The vehicle was found abandoned.

Myles Has, 34, from Saskatoon has since been charged with attempted murder, discharging a firearm, aggravated assault, possession of firearm without a license.

RCMP have described Has as 5-10 and 250 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who sees Has, is warned not to approach him. Contact your local police of jurisdiction immediately.
