New Year's baby

Welcome to the first baby born in Melfort in 2024

Melfort has it’s New Year’s baby.

The as-of-yet unnamed baby boy was born just after 4 p.m. on Jan. 3.

He weighed in at 7 lbs 14 oz and was 20 inches long.

The proud parents are Lorna and Cameron MacNeal, and all are doing well.
