Water restored in Hudson Bay, boil water advisory implemented

Jan 29, 2024 | 9:06 AM

UPDATE: The town of Hudson Bay is asking everyone to try to conserve water after a water main break.

The town issued an update through a social media post that water has been restored to most of the town following today’s break.

However, water pressure is low, and the entire town is under a Boil Water Advisory.

According to the town the advisory is expected to last for at least the remainder of the week, and residents are being asked to try to conserve water.

The town issued a notice earlier this morning that water had been shut off to the entire community.

“Due to frozen valves, and not being able to isolate a water main break, we have had to make the unfortunate decision to shut off water to save our water plant, as it cannot keep up,” the initial post read.
