The Saskatchewan NDP has named the candidate that will represent Batoche in the next provincial election.

Trina Miller was voted in Saskatchewan New Democrat members in a nomination on Sunday.

“I am honoured to be the Saskatchewan NDP candidate here in Batoche,” said Miller. “Rural Saskatchewan has so much to offer and so much potential. Batoche needs an MLA and a government that will make life more affordable, address the rural healthcare crisis, and ensure a brighter future for Saskatchewan families.”

Miller is a former school board trustee with the Prairie Spirit School Division and is an active member of her community, serving on numerous boards and committees. She is now a postal worker and is dedicated to ensuring the best for her family and for everyone in Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan NDP Leader Carla Beck spoke highly of Miller and thinks she is a great fit.

“I am so happy to have an experienced leader like Trina here in Batoche. I know that Batoche will be very well served having Trina as their MLA.”

Miller is the 33rd candidate nominated for the Saskatchewan NDP.
