License of Manitoba grain buyer suspended

The Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) Commission has revoked the licences of grain company from Manitoba.

Zeghers Seed Inc. o/a Zeghers Canada held a grain dealer licence and a primary elevator licence located at Holland, Manitoba.

Grain farmers in areas of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba may be owed money by this grain company for grain deliveries.

CGC is working to reach Canadian grain farmers to let them know that, if they’re affected, they may be eligible for compensation through the Safeguards for Grain Farmers Program and uses the company’s security to pay them if their claim is eligible

Any Canadian grain farmers who are owed money by Zeghers Seed should contact CGC.
