Hockey season may be winding down, but the Tisdale Trojans are making headlines with a couple of signings and their search for some important personnel.

The Trojans are on the lookout for a new Director of Player Personnel and an Assistant Coach. Both roles were filled by Trevor Logan last season.

Both positions are open until May 1, and anyone interested can contact President Dallas Thiessen at president.tisdaletrojans@gmail.com.

Tisdale also announced the signing of two players.

Jacob Tait, a 2009-born forward, is joining the Trojans after leading the Prince Albert Venice House Pirates of the Saskatchewan AA Hockey League in scoring.

Tait had 32 goals and 39 assists in just 28 regular season games, and three goals and four assists in three playoff games. He was also named to the U15 Sask. First Top 29.

Tisdale has also signed 2007 forward Sean Shiels, who had seven goals and seven assists for the Saskatoon Contacts this past season.

Prior to that, Shiels led all playoff scorers with 10 goals and 17 assists in 14 games as the Saskatoon Riverkings won their provincial championship.
