Melfort’s Luthi selected as SRA Chairperson for 2026

A northeast woman has been selected as the Saskatchewan Realtors Association (SRA) Chairperson for the year of 2026.

Robyn Luthi, who grew up in Melfort, has been a realtor since 2016 and is excited about this new opportunity.

“I’m pretty excited about getting to take on a new role, I really love governance and leadership and I’m really passionate about the Saskatchewan Realtors Association. I think I’ll be a good fit for the role, so I’m excited to see what happens,” she told northeastNOW.

“I hope that we continue to see success and growth in the real estate markets, make sure that we’re advocating for our membership and that our governance is on the right path, and just continue the success of the Saskatchewan Realtors Association.”

Luthi was elected as a board member on the SRA earlier this year and then subsequently put her name in the ring for the Chairperson position for 2026.

She did run against someone else and was elected by her fellow board directors for the position.

As the Chairperson in 2026, she will be primarily focused on governance and leadership for the SRA.

“It’s exciting for me to be a regional representative on the board, particularly as a 2026 Chair. The last couple of chairs have been amazing, but they are from the Saskatoon and Regina areas, so it’s nice to have someone more from a rural setting. I’m a female as well, so I feel like with the combination of both, people will hopefully see and respect that and are happy with that decision,” Luthi added.

“This role will also allow me to see the industry as a whole and what’s going on in markets in the urban centers as well. I’m getting a holistic approach for the entire province. Although things are done differently, say in Saskatoon versus Regina versus rural, we all follow the same act and we all follow the same guidelines, so it’s neat to see how it’s interpreted everywhere and how everyone sells real estate in their markets.”

Luthi will remain an active board member for the rest of 2024, before becoming chair-elect in 2025.

She will work closely alongside Lane Boghean, the 2025 Chairperson, and the SRA Executive before stepping into the Chairperson role in 2026.
