Naicam man charged with murder makes another court appearance

A Naicam man charged with killing a relative will make another court appearance in a few weeks.

Fifty-seven-year-old Kevin Swanson was charged with second-degree murder after an incident earlier this month.

Swanson remains in custody and appeared by phone at Melfort Provincial Court on Monday. His case has been adjourned until June 17.

Melfort RCMP responded to a call about a serious assault at a home on Third Ave. N. in Naicam May 2. Upon arrival they found an injured man.

Dennis Swanson, 81, was pronounced dead at the scene.
